God reached down, cradled Peter very gently,
made Him brand new, shown Heavens entry.
Placed with Jesus, our Lord most divine,
saviour of all children, Jesus table dine.
Don't call Him, please not Baby P,
His name is Peter, Master Peter Connelly.
He once lived, not just a letter,
life cut terribly short, now lives forever.
Tears and hurt, again will never be,
Jesus gives Peter wings, exquisite Angel He.
A beautiful vision, purest white, wings unfold,
Peter Angel of distinction, as was foretold.
Angel choir appears, sing Peters welcome song,
take Him under wing, silently walk along.
Given Angelic name, children's protection at home,
In company of Angels, never, again alone.
